Friendly Elephant, by Elephorium LLP
Our standard
Friendly Elephant is for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
What is prohibited
Using Friendly Elephant in any way that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a child, including:
- creating, sharing, requesting or promoting CSAM
- grooming: befriending or contacting a minor to enable sexual contact or the exchange of sexual images
- sextortion: threatening or pressuring a minor using intimate images, real or claimed
- trafficking or soliciting a minor for sexual exploitation
- bringing a minor to a Friendly Elephant dinner or event to exploit or endanger them
Keeping Friendly Elephant 18+
Every account must confirm an age of 18 or over before using the app. An account that declares an age under 18 is closed and its data deleted. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.
How to report a concern
In the app: Profile → Settings → Report someone from a dinner, or Profile → Talk to us.
By email: ira@friendlyelephant.com
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the US) first.
What we do
We review every report promptly. When we find a violation, we may immediately remove the content or close the account, and we preserve relevant information where the law permits or requires it. We report confirmed child sexual abuse material or exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, law enforcement agencies, or another appropriate regional authority, including in India, as required by applicable law. We comply with all applicable child safety laws.
Child safety contact
Our designated child safety contact can speak to our child safety practices and our compliance with this policy.
