You’ll meet people with just enough in common to feel comfortable — and just enough difference to keep things interesting. After your first dinner, you become part of a growing community you can keep reconnecting with.
Is this a dating app?
This is not about dating. It’s about friendship, conversation, and presence without pressure.
Who is a Social Host?
A Social Host is any Friendly Elephant guest — including you — who’s attended a couple of dinners and wants to help others feel at home. After two dinners, you’ll see an option in the app to become one.
Hosts greet guests, guide conversations with a few icebreakers, and make sure everyone feels included.
As a thank-you, Social Hosts get discounted pricing, access to host-only dinners, and can suggest new restaurants for future gatherings.
How much does it cost to attend a dinner?
Your first dinner’s platform fee is completely waived — our welcome gift to you for being part of this early community.
You’ll simply pay your own restaurant bill, based on what you order.
For future dinners, the platform fee is currently steeply discounted at $7 as we grow.
